Tech Neck Is Quietly Killing Your Rotation

If you spend hours in a forward head position, your body will rotate from that same rounded position.

Quick question…
How many hours a day are you looking down at your phone? Texting. Emails. Social media. News. YouTube.
Now add computer time.
That forward head position might not seem like a big deal… but it changes your posture in a big way.
When your head drifts forward:
• Your upper back rounds
• Your shoulders roll inward
• Your neck tightens
• Your core disengages
Now take that posture to the golf course.
Limited shoulder turn. Restricted rotation. Loss of posture through impact. Inconsistent contact.
Most golfers blame their swing mechanics. Very few look at what their daily posture is doing to their body.
Your body swings the way it lives.
If you spend hours in a forward head position, your body will rotate from that same rounded position.
Here’s a simple reset you can do today:
Stand tall. Stack your ribs over your hips.Gently pull your chin straight back, not down. Hold for 60 seconds while breathing deep into your ribs.
Do that 3 times today.
Small daily corrections create long-term change.
If you golf and spend hours on screens, this is something you cannot ignore.
